Canoe Adventures offer great good fun for everyone, young or old, in guided 9 and 12-seat Longbow Voyager canoes on the glorious River Dart of South Devon.  Canoes, guides and equipment and the unspoiled river, are all included

It is active adventure with a natural challenge in the sweet fresh air

Dartmouth Tuckenhay Totnes

The canoes go from and return to the slipway beside the friendly Maltsters Arms at Tuckenhay TQ9 7EQ.  Tuckenhay lies at the head of sheltered Bow Creek on the west bank of the River Dart, halfway between Dartmouth and Totnes in famously sunny South Devon.  Outings are 4-5 hours including riverside stops for ice creams and picnic. See the slipway location here - Google Map.  (Note - Google Maps have currently mixed up the Maltsters Arms with Springfield House !!)

"Thank you for giving us such a happy day. We will all have very special memories of a perfect afternoon - wonderful weather, great company, the beautiful Dart and wildlife - and just huge fun !!" Joanna

Why not see what we do on on YouTube - video available here

The Voyager canoe, aka Voyageur, is big and strong and easy to use.  It is a passenger-propelled zero-emission waterbus, evolved from the trade canoes of the Canadian North West Frontier.  Each comes with steersman-guide, and full canoeing equipment is supplied.

Everyone is invited to bring picnics, BBQs are by arrangement, and tours often stop across the river at the village of Stoke Gabriel for ice creams on the quay.  It is ideal for families and children, for people who gently and safely want to try canoeing, for bold adventurers too, and everyone who likes water and can enjoy a beautiful place like the Dart.

Bookings are By-The-Seat for families, couples and singles; and By-The-Boat or Boats(!) for Group Bookings.  Click Trips & Tariff.  Times change daily with the tide.  Early booking is recommended and welcome.  Last minute bookings are also welcome - but you may get bumped !
