Hi ! Welcome to Canoe Adventures Devon
Canoe Adventures offer waterbourne fun to everyone aboard 9-seat and 12-seat Longbow Voyager canoes, offering 4 to 5 hour guided expeditions on the magical River Dart in South Devon.
Book By-the-Boat or By-the-Seat. Special family rates. All ages welcome year round.
Canoes are like time-travelling, where the engine is the wooden paddle in your hand, and the wind and the waves and riverbank are the highway.
Outings go 4-5 hours and include riverside stops with options for ice cream, picnics and campfires, dining ashore, a winery visit, or a barbecue, by day or night.
Based at Tuckenhay beside the friendly Maltsters Arms, and at Stoke Gabriel on the shingle beach beside the licenced Rivershack Bistro, between nearby Dartmouth and Totnes. Google Map.

''There is something so special about being close to the water, seeing the ripples and splashes and the odd fish jumping. The wildlife is all around and not stressed by the canoe which gives a wonderful window to view them all. Looking forward to the next opportunity'' Anne
"Thank you for giving us such a happy day. We will all have very special memories of a perfect afternoon - wonderful weather, great company, the beautiful Dart and wildlife - and just huge fun !!" Joanna

The Voyager canoe, aka Voyageur, is big and strong and easy to use. It is a passenger-propelled zero-emission waterbus evolved from the trade canoes of the Canadian North West Frontier. Each comes with steersman-guide and full canoeing equipment.
Everyone is invited to bring picnics, BBQs are by arrangement. Tours often stop across the river at the village of Stoke Gabriel for ice creams on the quay. It is ideal for families and children, for people who gently and safely want to try canoeing, or for bold adventurers who may fancy a marathon, and anyone and everyone who likes the water and beautiful places like the Dart.
Bookings are By-The-Seat for families, couples and singles; or By-The-Boat or Boats(!) for Group Bookings. Click Trips & Tariff in Sidebar menu. Times change daily with the tide. Early booking is recommended and welcome. Last minute bookings are welcome too - but you may get bumped !
